Viewers with get to see a lot of Bengali culture via our show.”

She further adds, “I am not very picky when it comes to choosing films or TV shows. I’m gla that good work comes my way and things work out very organically so that I can balance both films and TV projects at the same time. When I’m offered a good film, I take it up and the same goes with TV shows. I feel I’ve been lucky with the kind of roles that I have got until now. Even when I started my career, I had one thing in my mind – if I’m offered multiple shows, I will choose whatever is best for me.”

Ishita who spent quality time with her husband, actor Vatsal Sheth during the lockdown says, “During the first two years of our marriage, we were constantly working and didn’t get to spend much time with each other. It was only last year that we really got to be with each other for five months straight. We got to know and learn a lot about each other. Last year was like an extended honeymoon for us (smiles). We supported each other when we had low days. I miss having that extra time in my schedule for him.”
