Twinj: When I Fell For You: Season 2 Episode 7
A quick recap: Twinkle, Yuvi and Usha’s midnight conversation, Twinkle reveals her thoughts to Kunj, and they decide to try for another baby
It was a cold Saturday morning, and everyone at the Sarna mansion was still asleep or just waking up, and thereby, it was pin drop silent all over. Except for a little hand banging on a door. Who could be, other than Simmi! She had begun slwwping with Pari in the kids’ bedroom recently, and was now outside her parents’ bedroom, looking more excited than she had ever been, for, knowing Simmi, you would know she is the most troublesome person to awaken. Also, you would know, she was highly impatient, and she had already given up waiting outside, and marched off angrily. Inside, Kunj, whose sleep had been disturbed by the knocking, sneaked in closer to Twinkle, waking her up. “Kunj! What is it?” She asked, evidently annoyed. “Someone’s at door” He whispered sleepily, placing a little peck on her shoulder. Twinkle’s eyes flew open. She quickly pushed Kunj off her, knowing it would be Simmi. “What are you doing?” He asked, opening his eyes hesitantly, wanting to go back to sleep. “Kunj! Wake up!! It’s your daughter at the door!!” She almost screamed, but her husband seemed to be in no mood for it. He rolled over, coming on top of her, and shushed her the way he knew best. “My daughter, huh?” He asked, trailing kisses along her cheek, down her neck. Twinkle smacked him and glared. “Kunj!! Look at our state” She whispered, trying to get him to understand. “Oh!” Kunj replied, pulling her closer and winking at her, teasing her. He knew what she meant finally. They had clothes strewn all over the place, and had fallen asleep in minimal clothing, after their heated love making the previous night. “Kunj! She’s going to tell everyone that we didn’t open the door!” Twinkle pleaded, and Kunj finally let her go. She quickly rushed to the washroom, telling him to clean up quickly and keep the door open before Simmi turned up again.
Kunj woke up lazily, picked up the clothes off the ground, put on a T-shirt and had just opened the door, when Simmi burst in. She had brought a wooden ladle, wanting to bang it on the door, had they not opened it this time. “Where is Mumma?” She asked urgently. “What’s up princess? No good morning kiss for Papa?” Kunj asked, picking her up. She looked at him angrily. “Why didn’t you open the door at that time? Don’t you know what today is? Pari Di is almost ready, and Mumma hasn’t even given me a bath yet!” She began, when Twinkle walked out of the washroom. Simmi quickly jumped off Kunj’s arms and rushed to Twinkle. “Mumma! It’s our fashion show today and you haven’t..” Her angry voice turned cheerful when she saw her gown in Twinkle’s hands. Kunj chuckled, adoring Simmi as she danced around happily. Twinkle then kept Simmi occupied, getting her bag packed with her accessories, giving her a bath, getting her ready and then sent her with Pari to Chinki’s place, where it had been decided that the kids would spend the day, learning their activities for the day.
Later, as Kunj and Twinkle got ready to leave for work, Kunj pulled Twinkle to himself, making her look up at him with a surprised expression. “Not getting late for work, are we?” She asked, but it fell on deaf ears, as Kunj nuzzled his nose in her hair, placing gentle pecks on her shoulder. “Kunj?” Twinkle managed to call out among her bated breaths, and just got a “Hmmm?” in response, for he was too busy in his actions to listen. She quickly took a step behind, and begun her usual ‘We’ll get late..’ , ‘The door is open, someone might just walk in..’ lecture, but he pulled her right back. “Shh! That’s enough!” He spoke slowly, turning her around, pushing all her hair to her right shoulder, placing little kisses on her back. She finally gave in, too lost in the moment to care about anything else. “By the way, I had to thank you, you know” He said in between, and Twinkle just moaned in response. “For last night, for all those amazing nights we’ve been having recently” He added with a hint of mischief in his voice, picking her up and placing her gently on the bed. Feeling the mattress beneath her, she sat up straight immediately, almost crashing into Kunj, who was sitting right next to her. “What if someone heard that?” She asked, blushing as she recalled their moments. “Really? Like who?” He asked, leaning in closer to her. “Like me!” Amaya announced, laughing, as she walked into the room.
Twinkle stood up and walked over to her, hoping she hadn’t heard or seen much. “I didn’t see anything!” Amaya teased, placing her hand on Twinkle’s shoulder, before she burst out laughing again. They were embarrassed at being caught that way, and avoided her glance carefully. “I wouldn’t have come in and disturbed you two, but Twinkle was supposed to drop me today..” Amaya said, walking over to Kunj, and pulling his ear playfully. “Of course I remember Bhabhi” Twinkle replied quickly, and rushed out of the room to avoid further teasing, telling Amaya that she would be waiting in the care for her.
It had been two hours since Kunj had gotten to his cabin, and there was still no sign of Twinkle. (I don’t know if you guys remember, but the day Twinkle had started working there, Kunj had relocated his computer and other stuff in such a way that he could see Twinkle in her cabin properly.) He restlessly called her up the hundredth time, but she wouldn’t pick up either. “Kunj? Seriously?” Yuvi asked, entering his chamber. Kunj wondered what he had done wrong, turning in his chair slowly. Yuvi giggled and said, “It was fine that you watched her like that before you got married, but you can’t seem to get enough of my sister even now, correct me if I’m wrong!” Kunj was about to explain, when Yuvi continued, “I know she isn’t here. She took the day off because Usha Ma asked her to take a look at the preparations for Amaya’s baby shower. And you, need to get to Chinki’s place immediately. Simmi’s been throwing tantrums and since Twinkle can’t get there, you need to.” Kunj sighed, knowing if this had to come up to him, Simmi must have already defeated everyone’s attempts to calm her down.
