Kamya Punjabi who has been a part of the entertainment industry for more than a decade now recently wrapped up her shoot for Shakti. Along with Shakti, Kamya is also known for her stint in shows like Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?, and Bigg Boss season 7.

According to the latest reports, Kamya is all set to enter Politics and has joined the Congress party. Soon an official announcement regarding the same is likely to be made. Kamya always wanted to be in politics but she couldn’t take the plunge due to her work and busy schedule.

Now that her show Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has wrapped up, she has made up her mind to try her hand in politics.

On the personal front, Kamya is married to Delhi-based healthcare professional Shalabh Dang. The two decided to tie the knot in February 2020.
