A Quest for the heart – Episode 7

SUBSCRIBE FOR LATEST UPDATES

Hi all, I know you all are probably angry at me for not posting for a week but I had no motivation at all, hopefully now I am ok and will be back to writing. Just a reminder that in the last episode, Kabir kidnapped Riddhima and Vansh lost his deal so let’s continue..

Epi starts..

VR mansion (9pm)

Vansh was in his study when he looked at the time and wandered how he lost a deal that nobody had known about besides him and his men.

Vansh (thinking): I need to find the person who backstabbed me. But first where is this Riddhima? It’s not my business but I did promise that she will be safe under my watch.

He calls Angre.

Angre: Yes boss?

Vansh: I need you to track Riddhima’s phone. Tell me her location today and where she went and you have 10 mins.

Angre: Okay boss but what happened? Any problem?

Vansh: Shut up Angre and just do it.

Angre laughs and nods..he goes and gets a laptop and returns 10 mins later.

Angre: Boss I have found her, she is in VE corp. Her last known location was at 3pm and there is no report of her leaving after that.

Vansh: You can go now Angre. I will do the rest of the work myself.

Angre: You sure boss?

Vansh: Yes

Angre: Okay boss, just call if you need backup.

He walks out.

Vansh (thinking): What is this girl doing? Working until late, is she a machine? No rest just work, ajeeb hai.

Vansh walks out of his study and goes outside towards his car.

Meanwhile back at VR corp..

Riddhima gains consciousness and realised her hands were tied. She tried to move but the space was limited and noticed that she was locked in a cupboard. She was scared and for the first time she started to cry. She closed her eyes as she remembered her past.

Flashback starts..

“You can’t lock me in here, this is a house not a jail, it’s against the law and you will never get away with it.”

The noise was getting so loud that she collapsed on the floor. She had no idea why her parents had done this to her and why she was here. She just knew one thing, she had to get out..

Flashback ends..

Riddhima opened her eyes and looked around. It was very dark and she could only feel things around her. She felt a screw sticking out but the door frame and lean her hands against it to cut the ropes. She was free but not out of danger. She couldn’t open the door as someone had locked it from the outside and started struggling to breathe as there was no air.

Back outside VR corp..

Vansh walked into his office and looked around. It was so dark he couldn’t see anything. He turned the lights on and walked up to his cabin to see if Riddhima was around.

Vansh (thinking): Strange she isn’t here.

Vansh (raises his voice to shout): Riddhima?? Are you here??

Riddhima heard him and recognised straight away recognised it was Vansh. She had to alert him to let him know where she was. She started to move and managed to knock a vase over that was on the table next to the cupboard.

Vansh heard the noise and had a hand over his gun. He went upstairs and into one of the cabins that was empty except for a table and a cupboard that was old.

Vansh: Riddhima??

Riddhima: Vansh!! Is that you?

Vansh: Riddhima! Where the hell are you?

Riddhima: I am in the cupboard. Someone locked me in and I can’t get out. Please help. I can’t breathe properly.

Vansh: Be strong Riddhima. I will get you out.

Vansh runs to the cupboard and noticed it was locked. He tried to break it but it wouldn’t budge so in frustration took out his gun and shot at the lock. It opened straight away and he quickly opened the cupboard.

Riddhima was weak on her legs and couldn’t stand up anymore. As the cupboard opened she fell onto the floor and let the air blow onto her face. She looked up at Vansh before closing her eyes

Precap: Vansh takes Riddhima home and she tells him what happened. Vansh finds out the person who caused him to lose his deal and warns Kabir
