Post Bigg Boss 14 Rakhi went to meet her mother in the hospital where she is being treated for cancer. She was accompanied by fellow contestant Kashmera Shah. Kashmera and Rakhi bonded well in the house. Sambhavna Seth also visited Rakhi’s mother and later shared on social media that Mrs. Sawant’s health is critical but she is doing better.
Rakhi’s mother was supposed to visit her during the family week but couldn’t due to her health issues. Rakhi came to know about her mother’s cancer during her stay in the house.
Recently, Rakhi shared a picture of her mother who has gone bald after her chemo. She captioned it as, “Please pray for mom, she is undergoing cancer treatment.”
Many celebrities including Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Anita Hassanandani, Sofiya Hayat, Bandgi Kalra, Kanika Kapoor, and others prayed for Rakhi’s mother. It is commendable how Rakhi entertained the audience in Bigg Boss 14 in spite of knowing about her mother’s health condition. As they say, The show must go on.
