A Mesmerizing Love Story Of Those Golden Days – Episode 7

The episode starts as Sameer gets a little nervous and when he reaches the office, the Principal informs, “I AM SO SORRY SAMEER BUT SOME SENIORS HAVE COMPLAINED AGAINST YOU FOR BEATING THEM UP. UNFORTUNATELY, YOU ARE EXPELLED FROM THE SCHOOL.”

SAMEER STANDS STUNNED.

“But Sir, that was not my fault. Those boys were laughing at me and my friends and treated us in an ill manner.” confirms Sameer but the Principal tells that it is not in his hands because the seniors’ parents too called and complained about the same so he has to leave the school. “I have called your parents too.” says the Principal and just then, Vishakha and Vivek show up and hug Sameer. “We know you won’t support violence without a reason. Something big must have happened.” Vishakha says and consoles Sameer. “Is there any way Sameer could continue studying here because I am sure you also know that he is a bright student and doesn’t support violence.” Vivek says. “I know that Sir but many parents have complained against a single student, and we have to take action. I am really sorry.” Tells the Principal. Sameer and his parents are disheartened and when they are about to leave, the Principal speaks up, “Maybe you could try talking to our trustees because the final decision of Sameer’s expulsion has come with their consent. Sameer, you can finish today’s lectures and then go to Mr.Anand’s house” They thank the Principal and leave.

Sameer comes back to his classroom and when everybody asks him what had happened, he tells nothing. He just whispers the whole incident to Munna and Pandit. “Did you beat those students?” asks Munna and Sameer nods in agreement. Munna and Pandit laugh as they tell Sameer, “We have been best friends since childhood but never knew that our brother is a wrestler.” The teacher scolds and orders them to pay attention to the board. Pandit whispers, “We will also go with you to Mr.Anand’s house to support.” Munna happily agrees and Sameer hugs them.

IN CANTEEN (DURING LUNCH)

Preeti brings Samosas and Kachoris for them. “Why did you bring so much? Didn’t you both bring your lunch boxes?” asks Swati curiously. “We like this food and anyways, we never bring Lunch boxes to school. Also, it’s for you too as you threw your lunch on that girl in the morning” tells Preeti and Swati laughs. Naina speaks while lost in her thoughts, “Something wrong had happened. That’s why Sameer had that sad expression on his face.” “You really know too much about his feelings and expressions.” mocks Preeti. Naina gives her angry looks and Swati smiles. Preeti takes a sip of water from her bottle. “Can I ask you something?” asks Swati and Naina nods. “Have you ever had a boyfriend?” she asks and Preeti throws the water out of her mouth laughing, “Boyfriend? Boyfriend is something Naina won’t even think about. She hasn’t even thought about having a friend that’s a boy.” “Preeti, I don’t trust boys and don’t even believe in LOVE.” tells Naina. “Then maybe you will start believing soon.” taunts Swati and Naina rolls her eyes and looks away with air filled in her mouth. “Can I break that Golgappa?” asks Swati pointing at Naina’s mouth and Naina starts laughing loud. The three girls eat and gossip.

AT 4:00 PM

Sameer, Munna, Pandit, Vishakha, and Vivek reach Anand’s house. Sameer says, “Goodevening Sir. Sorry to disturb you but we wanted to talk about” and Anand interrupts, “About your expulsion, right? Please come in.” They all sit and Anand calls Bela, Naina and Preeti. Naina and Sameer try to ignore each other while Pandit’s smile automatically widens seeing Preeti who gives a confusing look to him. Vivek requests, “Please forgive Sameer. The seniors messed with them first and talked ill about their mothers and the food. I am sure Sameer beat them up because he can’t listen anything wrong about his loved ones.” “I know he is a very good boy and stays away from violence but how do we prove he is innocent in front of those parents who complained? Sameer, do you know anybody who was present at that time in the canteen and could support you?” asks Anand. Sameer starts thinking, “Some girls from my class were there but if I ask for their help, they will get wrong signals and my problem will be doubled for the whole school year.” and replies, “I did not notice anybody familiar who would definitely support me.” Everybody gets tensed. “Swati can help you.” says Naina unknowingly while looking into Sameer’s eyes and suddenly looks away.

In the flashback, Swati tells Naina and Preeti about the whole canteen fight she saw.

IN PRESENT TIME

“Naina, can you please talk to her about it?” asks Bela. “Actually I…I am not sure” Naina speaks relunctantly and Preeti interrupts, “Of course. Naina will surely talk to Swati to help SAMEER.” Before Naina could say anything else, Vishakha hugs and thanks her. “This is so weird. I don’t want to help anybody, especially this idiot. But at least there are people like this lady who loves her son so much. I can ask Swati for help, and the rest is up to her.” thinks Naina.

SAMEER THANKS NAINA FOR HER HELP WHO JUST GIVES A WEIRD SMILE!!!
