Roshni:Hi..
Roshni shook her hand.Nirmala was shocked.
Nirmala:Your hand is cold like ice.How can a living person’s hand be so cold like a dead body?
Aman became nervous as Nirmala may know Roshni’s truth.
Nirmala looked at Roshni’s face.Her eyes became yellow colour.Nirmala screamed out of fear and walked backward.
Nirmala:Ghost..ghost….
Aman did not know what to do.
Roshni was smirking seeing Nirmala’s fear.
Aman:Roshni…what was the need to scare her?
Roshni:Just for fun.
Aman:You are really naughty.
Roshni smiled.Roshni went near Nirmala:Nirmalaji..
Nirmala:Go far away..don’t come near me.
Aman:Nirmalaji…don’t be scared of her.
Nirmala:Aman Sir…I think she is a ghost.
Aman:Yes.But she is a sweet ghost.She won’t harm you.
Nirmala:What?She is a ghost and you know that?Then how can you tell me not to be scared of her?How can you make friends with a ghost?
Aman:Trust me.She is not a bad soul.She is a sweet ghost.
Roshni:Sorry Nirmalaji.It was just a prank on you.I promise you that I will not repeat it.Please don’t be scared.
Nirmala:Sure?
Roshni:Sure.
Nirmala was relieved.
Nirmala:It’s the first time I am seeing a ghost.
Roshni smiled.
Roshni:Then make friends with me.
Nirmala:I can’t believe that a ghost can be friendly also.
Roshni and Aman smiled.
Rocky came running inside.Aman caressed it when it wagged it’s tail.
Nirmala:Aman Sir…how come this dog become friendly with you so fast?
Aman was silent.
Nirmala:This dog came again.It’s hungry I guess.I will give it food.
Nirmala took Rocky to backyard and give it food there.Roshni became very happy.
Roshni smiled emotionally:I am happy that my Rocky is getting affection even after death.
Aman smiled.
Roshni:Let Nirmalaji not know that Rocky is a ghost.Rocky should not lose her affection and care because it’s a ghost.
Aman:Ok.
A stylish girl came:Hi Aman Sir…
Aman:Hi Tanu.
Tanu:I brought the files which you asked for.
Aman:Good.
He took the files from her.
Aman:Did you have break fast?
Tanu:No.
Aman:Then have it here.
Tanu smiled:Sure.When you say how can I say no?
Roshni’s face became dull seeing Tanu’s over sweetness.
Roshni:Aman…who is this?
Aman:She is my PA.
Tanu:And you?
Roshni:I am Aman’s best friend.Right Aman?
Aman smiled.
Tanu thought:Why is Aman Sir’s best friend here?I think she will become a barrier between me and Aman Sir.
Tanu sat to have break fast.Aman and Roshni too sat near by.
Tanu was glaring at Aman lustfully while Aman was going through the files..Roshni noticed it.
Tanu thought:I should seduce Aman Sir to gain his attention.Who can resist a beauty like me?
Tanu touched Aman’s foot with her foot.Roshni saw this angrily.
Aman thought:What is happening to my foot?
Aman looked down and saw Tanu touching his foot with toes in a seductive way.He stared at Tanu.Tanu was smiling at him seductively.Aman was getting angry.
Roshni thought:I should teach her a lesson.How dare she behave like this with Aman?
Aman gritted his teeth:Tanu!
Roshni:Aman..you talk later.Let Tanu eat break fast peacefully.
Aman:But Roshni..she..
Roshni whispered to him:I know.I saw everything.Leave it to me.I will give her the dose which she deserves.
Aman smirked.
Tanu was irritated seeing Roshni whispering in Aman’s ears.
Tanu thought:This girl is really getting cozy with Aman Sir.I have to drive her away from Aman Sir’s life.Otherwise he won’t mind me.
Roshni:Tanu…eat..
Tanu:Ya..
Roshni:I will serve you food as you are our guest.
Tanu:But why you?Servant is there.
Roshni:She is busy in her kitchen.That’s why.
Tanu:Ok.
Roshni served her food in the plate.
Tanu took the chappathi piece.Suddenly it turned into a rat which was moaning.
Tanu got scared and screamed.
Tanu:Rat on the plate.How come a rat here?
Aman and Roshni felt like laughing.
Roshni:Why are you tensed Tanu?It’s only a rat.Drink juice.
Roshni poured juice into the glass and gave it to Tanu.
Tanu started sipping the juice.
Tanu:Why does the juice taste different?
Tanu looked at the glass.She was shocked to see the glass filled with blood.
Tanu screamed:Blood.
The glass fell down and broke.Along with the scattered pieces there was blood spilled over there which scared Tanu.
Tanu:Blood…
Roshni:There is no blood here.
Tanu:Look at the floor.The glass was full of blood.
They looked at the floor.It was juice.
Aman:It is juice,not blood.What happened to you Tanu?
Tanu:But I had seen blood.
Aman:I think you were hallucinating.
Tanu thought:Was it just a hallucination?
Tanu saw juice stains on her dress.
Tanu:I need to go to the washroom to clean my dress.
Aman:Ok.Go inside.
Tanu cleaned her dress.
Tanu:I want to drink water.But I will get water from the kitchen.Everything in the kitchen is scary.
Tanu went to the kitchen.
Nirmala looked at her:Madamji..you came.I had heard your voice.
Tanu:Whatever!I don’t care whether you heard my voice or not.You creepy old lady..give me water.
Nirmala became dull.Roshni watched it from the door.
Roshni thought:How disrespectfully Tanu is talking to Nirmalaji?
Nirmala gave her a glass of water.Tanu started sipping water.
Tanu:What a bad taste!
Tanu looked at the water.It was oil.
Tanu stared at Nirmala angrily:Instead of water you gave me oil.How dare you old lady?
Tanu raised her hand to slap Nirmala.Suddenly Nirmala’s look got changed.Nirmala looked scary.
Tanu was shocked.Suddenly Nirmala turned into Roshni and started laughing loudly.
Tanu got so scared that she ran out of the kitchen screaming.
Aman:What happened Tanu?
Tanu:Sir…there…Roshni…she is a ghost.I saw your servant turning into Roshni.
Aman:What rubbish Tanu?
Nirmala came:What happened Madamji?
Tanu looked at her:You..you…you are a ghost.You are actually Roshni.
Nirmala:What are you saying Madamji?How can I be Roshniji?
Roshni came from behind:I am here Tanu.Do i look like a ghost to you?How could you even think like that about me?
Tanu looked at Roshni.Roshni’s eyes were glowing like yellow stars.
Tanu got scared:She is a ghost Aman Sir.Her eyes are yellow.
Aman looked at Roshni.Her eyes were normal.
Aman:You meet an eye specialist.Roshni’s eyes are not yellow.
Tanu also saw Roshni’s normal eyes.
Tanu:But I saw..
Aman:You are hallucinating too much.And I checked the files.You made a lot of mistakes.Instead of seducing your bosses you better concentrate on your work.Did you get it?
Aman returned her the files.Tanu was embarrassed.Roshni smirked.
Aman:Re work on it with full concentration.Understand?
Tanu:Ok Sir.
Tanu left the house.
Tanu thought:Something is wrong with Roshni.
Aman and Roshni started laughing.
Aman:Whatever you really helped me today.That Tanu was really a head ache for me.
Roshni:I will always help you Aman..especially to save you from such witches.
Aman smiled.
Nirmala smiled.
Suddenly she became upset.She thought:I wish Roshniji was not a ghost.If so Aman Sir and Roshniji could have got married.They look so nice together.
After a month…
Aman was walking in the forest.He was startled by the sounds of the animals.
Suddenly a scary ghost appeared.She called him in a scary voice:Aman…
Aman got scared seeing her.
She became huge in size that her head touched the sky.She took Aman in her hand who seemed to be small like an ant.She put him inside his mouth and chewed.Aman’s blood flowed out from her mouth.
Suddenly Maya woke up from her bed screaming:Amannnnn
Veer came inside her room and sat near her:What happened Maya?
Maya:I saw a ghost eating up Aman.
Veer:Oh no…it’s just a dream Maya.Leave it.
Maya:No,I can’t.
Maya rang up Aman.
Maya:Aman…are you alright?
Aman:Yes Maya.What happened?
Maya:Is there any ghost troubling you?
Aman thought:A ghost is there with me.But she does’nt trouble me at all.
Aman:Why should any ghost trouble me?I have not hurt anyone or caused anyone’s death for any ghost to come and take revenge on me.
Suddenly Veer thought of something and got tensed.
Maya:But I saw a ghost troubling you in my dream.
Aman:It’s only a dream Maya.Leave it.
Maya:No,I can’t.I don’t think that the house where you stay is safe.
Aman:Nothing like that Maya.
Maya:I don’t know.First Veer faced some strange experiences in your house.Now this dream..I can’t remain peaceful.
Aman:But what Veer faced was only his hallucination.
Maya:I don’t know.But I can’t leave you there alone.
Aman:But I am not alone here.I mean Nirmalaji is there with me.
Maya:What can that old lady do?Nothing.So I am coming there with Veer.We both will stay there for some days.
Aman was stunned:What?
Maya:No excuse.We are coming there.
Maya cut the call.
Veer:Maya..how can we leave our business and go to Ooty?
Maya:Only for some days bhai..just for my peace of mind.
Veer:Ok.
Roshni was watching Aman talking on the phone.After the call got disconnected Roshni came near him.
Roshni:Who was on the call?
Aman:My fiancee Maya.She and her brother Veer are coming here to stay with me.
Roshni’s face became dull.
Aman:Roshni…I just want to ask you something.Have you seen Veer?He had stayed here one night before I came here.That time did you scare Veer?
Roshni was stunned by his question.
Her face was dim.
Aman:Say Roshni.
Roshni:No.Why should I scare Veer?I don’t even know him.
Aman:That’s what I also thought.But Veer feels that he saw some ghost here.It must be his hallucination.
Roshni:Is Veer a nice guy?
Aman:Of course yes.He is the most loyal friend of mine.
Roshni:Then ghosts will not attack me.A ghost will not trouble an innocent person.
Aman smiled.
Roshni:You have not said anything about me to them.Right?
Aman:No.I will not tell them.
Roshni smiled with relief.
Roshni turned back and thought angrily:Sorry Aman for lying to you.I only scared Veer that day.
Sadly I am going to break the promise I gave you.I assured you that I will not come between him and his fiancee.But I am forced to break that promise.Sorry.
