Human traffickers kidnap Imlie along with other girls and discuss that once they cross border, nobody would be able to catch them. Girls start crying. Imlie consoles them that even Seeta Maiya was kidnapped, they should have faith on themselves as god will send someone for help. Aditya reaches venue on his bike and walks in hiding from goons. Imlie takes girls towards window and opens it when she sees Aditya and asks what is he doing here. He asks same. She asks him to help her send girls away from her soon. They help girls escape via window when a goon notices Imlie and drags her back in asking where did she send girls. Aditya jumps in and fights with goons. Goons point gun at him. He throws tire on them and trashes them brutally. One of them is about to shoot him when police enters and shoots down goon. They reach police station where Aditya explains who issue and says he will go now. Inspector asks to click Imlie’s pic as all girls described how she saved them. He clicks Imlie and policemen’s pics. Constable pushes Adi and asks to click pics soon. Imlie pushes him away warning why did he push Adi. Inspector shouts how dare she is to push a policeman, she is not a heroine just because they called her. Adi defends Imlie. Police puts them both in jail.

Adi’s family eagerly waits for him for engagement and call him, but his phone is not reachable. Adi scolds her for pushing constable. Imlie says how can a policeman push a reporter, her Dadda/Satyakam is right that policemen are arrogant. Adi asks why did she go out when she doesn’t know the place. She says she wanted to search her baba and starts crying. He gives his kerchief and says she should have taken his help, what if police had forced her to reveal her address and then their secret would have been out. Imlie wipes her tears with his kerchief. Malini reaches police station and says he is Aditya Triapathi’s fiance. Dev and Bade papa follow him. Malini walks to Adi. Adi apologizes her. She says she didn’t know that he would be so afraid of his engagement that hid in jail. He says he told her he will give her surprise and shows his handcuffed hand with Imllie. Bade papa bails them out. Imlie sees Satyakam’s photo and pulling out asks what did he do. Constable asks if she knows him. She says yes, then reminiscing Adi’s warning says he is a good man. Consable says he is a goon who kidnapped a reporter and got him married to a villager, who does that. Ad and Imlie look at each other’s face. Malini asks Adi if he went to Pagdandiya to take Satyakam’s interview. Adi nods yes.

At home, Anu sends all guests away saying Malini’s engagement is postponed. Badimaa and Aparna plead her not to do that. Anu says she is doing think after thinking much as career is more important to Adi than Malini, he went to jail on engagement day. Aparna says Adi and Malini love each other. Anu says she thought same and permitted this engagement thinking though Adi doesn’t have money, he loves Malini and will keep her happy. She says she is breaking this alliance. Malini walks in with others and says when Adi and Malini decided to be together forever, pandit, guests, and muhurat were not present there; they don’t need them for their engagement and when Anu has decorated house so well after overnight, she will not let it go waste and perform engagement. Adi says Anu can get angry as he came late, but he promises that he will be only Malini’s and even if he is late, he will return to her wherever he goes. Imlie feels sad hearing that. Dev convinces Anu to agree for Malini and Adi’s engagement. Anu smiles. Dhruv clicks family pics and asks Imlie to get ready. Imlie goes to Dev’s art room and stands shocked seeing Mithi’s pic there.

Precap: When Adi is about to put engagement ring in Malini’s finger, it falls down in front of Imlie.
