A Mesmerizing Love Story Of Those Golden Days – Episode 6

A Mesmerizing Love Story Of Those Golden Days – Episode 6

The episode begins as they enter the classroom and SAMEER AND NAINA LOOK AT EACH OTHER WITH WIDE OPEN EYES.

Everybody stands up seeing Anand and wish him good morning. Naina gets annoyed seeing Sameer. Preeti smiles and thinks, “No boy has annoyed Naina to this extent ever before. This guy has got something.” Pandit sees Preeti and keeps on seeing her as his smile gets wider but Preeti doesn’t notice him. Anand informs the teacher and students about Naina and Preeti studying in the same class from now on. When he tells the students that the girls are from London, everybody gives too much attention to them and ask for their friendship. Naina and Preeti are happy that they’ll have a reputation and will be given importance in the class. Sameer gets mixed feelings as Naina will be studying along with him but at the same time, he might get distracted from his studies. Anand wishes them good luck and leaves.

All the students welcome the girls with a huge round of applause and suddenly, a girl screams. Naina and Preeti smirk and look at each other. The girl is all covered with Rajma Chawal. The teacher asks, “How did this happen?” “I don’t know who threw this on me, teacher?” says the girl. The teacher says, “But how is that possible? You are sitting alone on the bench and there is no one even sitting behind you. Who did this, will somebody speak something?” All the students stay quiet. The teacher asks the girl to go to the washroom and clean herself up. “Sorry about that. So, Naina and Preeti, where would you both like to sit? You can choose your partner by yourselves.” Both the girls reply pointing to the same direction, “We want to sit with that girl.” “Are you sure? She is just an average student.” whispers the teacher. They nod and sit by the girl. Just then, the peon comes in and tells the teacher that the principal is calling him right now. The teacher tells the students to study till he comes back. As soon as he leaves, all the students except Sameer, Munna, and Pandit rush to Naina and Preeti and start asking them questions. The two get irritated and warn the students that they will complain if they don’t go back to study. All the students get scared and leave. “Hey? What is your name?” Preeti asks the girl. “Swati” she answers. “You were the one who threw Rajma Chawal on that girl, right?” asks Naina as she smirks. “How do you know that?” asks Swati. “Jis school mein tum padhti ho, hum dono wahan ki principal reh chuki hain (We are much more experienced than you with these tricks)” says Preeti and continues, “We saw when everybody was standing and clapping for us, you went from the back and quickly threw the food on her and came back to your place, right?” “Right.” says Swati and the three laugh. “Don’t worry. We won’t tell anybody because I think trust is the base of friendship. “Are we friends?”asks Swati while rolling her eyes. “Why not? Friends act and think alike. And you are someone of our competition when it comes to smartness and pranks. By the way, I am Naina and she is Preeti.” tells Naina. Swati smiles, shakes hands with them and asks, “So you both are from London, right? And what about your parents?” “Can we please skip that? Is it not ok if we keep our personal lives aside and just focus on our friendship.” Asks an annoyed Naina. “I am so sorry. That’s totally fine. From today itself, just our friendship, ok?” says Swati. Naina nods and when she asks the reason for throwing the food on the girl, Swati tells, “Actually the teacher gave us the tests back a while back and she scored more than me. On top of that, she was stupid enough to tease me for getting lower scores. And there she has it now.” Naina and Preeti pat on Swati’s shoulders while praising her.

The teacher comes in and starts teaching. Naina starts getting bored while Sameer continuously sees her through the side of his eyes without turning his face from the blackboard. Coincidentally, they both start hitting the top of their tables with their pens creating little sounds. They both look at each other and smile. The teacher turns towards the class and they both realize what they were doing. Anyways, the teacher doesn’t realize who was making those noises. So he continues teaching. Naina thinks, “Why did I smile at him? I am an idiot.” “No Sameer No. You have to stay away from her. Otherwise, mummy will never forgive you.” thinks Sameer. They again turn to look at each other but quickly turn their heads away.

As the second lecture begins, the peon comes in and asks Sameer to come along as the Principal is calling him. “I knew there is something wrong with him. He must have done something idiotic.” speaks Naina. “No, he is the most intelligent student in the class and really innocent too.” tells Swati.

Sameer gets a little nervous and when he reaches the office, the Principal informs, “I AM SO SORRY SAMEER BUT SOME SENIORS HAVE COMPLAINED AGAINST YOU FOR BEATING THEM UP. UNFORTUNATELY, YOU ARE EXPELLED FROM THE SCHOOL.”

SAMEER STANDS STUNNED.
