The dedication of our tv stars is impeccable when it comes to prepping for a role. Actor Gaurav Wadhwa who is currently getting gearing up to essay the role of a new reporter in his upcoming show Maddam Sir, too is busy learning the in and out of news reporting. The show features actors Gulki Joshi and Yuktii Kapoor in the lead and will have Gaurav play the role of a news reporter.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Gaurav said,“I have been watching movies like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’, in which Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan, respectively, played news reporters. I am also watching news channels regularly.”
As an actor, he loves to dabble in the comic genre. Gaurav says, “I love doing comedy. There are very few shows that make you feel that the story will strike a chord with the audience, and ‘Maddam Sir’ is one of them. Though the show revolves around female cops, my character, Sunny, is pivotal to the plot. He is a news reporter, who gets involved in every case being handled by the Aminabad police station.”
