Actress Pankhuri Awasthy who essayed the character of Vedika in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is bidding adieu to the show. Well, we know Kartik and Naira fans will enjoy and celebrate her exit as she created lots of havoc in Kaira’s lives and did everything which she could to keep the love birds separate.
But now the makers have decided to end her character Vedika and the story will proceed in a way where Naira will expose Vedika’s truth to Kartik and he will abandon her. It was the last day of shoot for Pankhuri today and with a heavy heart she said goodbye to the entire team. She even shared pictures with Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi on her social media stories.
In an interview with a leading daily, she said,“Well, this was how my character Vedika was destined to be. It was initially supposed to be a three month track and later it got stretched for eight months, so I’m very glad about it. Everybody in the show is like my family now and these eight months were really enjoyable. I’m leaving on a good note.”
Further talking about her plans after the show she said, “There are no plans as of now, I’m just waiting for the release of my film Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan.”
